Join us for an unforgettable celebration of art, creativity, and community spirit. Whether you’re a long-time supporter of the arts or a first-time visitor, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Cranbrook Arts is a not-for-profit organization committed to Inspiring Creativity through our art classes and pottery workshops. Expanding Minds with our exciting Gallery Shows and art experiences and Fostering Connections with public art and community events. 

We are located at 1401 5th St (Kootenay St) N. Our facility includes a fully equipped Pottery Studio, Cranbrook’s first professional gallery, and our beautiful workshop space.

Fisher Peak Performing Artists Society (FPPAS) is a not for profit organization which sprang from a 2010 event collaboration between organizers of ‘Dancing in the Park’ and ‘Summer Sounds’ to become a Society in 2014.

Our mission: To promote the Performing Arts in the South Kootenay and provide support for musicians and performers of all types and genres through live entertainment events and mentorship.

WHAT WE DO: We provide numerous free public shows in Cranbrook's beautiful Rotary Park, connect event organizers with performers, promote the performing arts and collaborate or co-sponsor other events in the South Kootenays to support charitable activities related to live entertainment.

We strive to be inclusive and ensure that local talent, youth and artists of all persuasions receive opportunities to develop their talent, be it singing, instruments, dancing or recording and provide mentorship in proper gear, sound and lighting.  PRINTABLE BROCHURE

JCI Kootenay is a group of young people, aged 18 to 40, who live, work, and play in the East Kootenays. Our members believe in the importance of creating positive change within our communities and the world. To help accomplish this, we value improving ourselves and enjoy fellowship with other like-minded individuals. At EdFest, JCI Kootenay will have the pleasure of supporting the festival with volunteers while serving patrons local beer, wine, and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic refreshments. JCI Kootenay is proud to be a part of Edfest.

The Cranbrook History Centre is the community hub for all things history! We believe in the power of history, science and art to ignite the imagination, stimulate curiosity, provide enjoyment and engage our community. Come visit the History Centre’s booth at the inaugural Ed Fest and learn about the famous elephant ‘Cranbrook Ed’ who inspired the festival. Follow the story of Ed and how he and his fellow circus performers made Cranbrook famous in 1926.

The Cranbrook Farmer's Market brings a delight for the senses. At our market you can find a buffet of beautiful sights, sounds and delicious smells.  Travel the world through food from far off places and feast your eyes on all things creative...all while staying right here in this magical corner of the Kootenays and shopping local.  Our region is full of talented woodworkers, artists, photographers, chefs, brewers, growers, makers and creators.  When you shop directly from local farmers, artisans and food producers, you are not only buying fresh, delicious and beautiful products, you are directly supporting your community, local agriculture, small businesses and the wildest dreams of the folks that are creating for you.
